Classes
Creative Writing and College Essay Classes
Kids Talk Story offers its unique creative writing courses to grades K-8. For high school students, we are now teaching a College Essay Class to help your child stand out to college admissions committees!
If your child attends a Title One school, he/she may be eligible for 24 hours of free tutoring! Check with your school's SES Coordinator to find out if your child is eligible.
We also offer classes at the following schools for a reasonable price:
In Honolulu District:
- Academy of the Pacific
- Kahala Elementary
- Kalani High
- Kamiloiki Elementary
- MaryKnoll
- Niu Valley Middle
In Windward District:
- Aikahi Elementary
- Kainalu Elementary
- Le Jardin
All classes meet twice a week for six weeks. Each class is an hour and a half long. Each six-week session is $360. You can pay with a credit card right here on our website or by check. (Please make checks payable to Kids Talk Story and mail to: P.O. Box 240627 Honolulu, HI 96824.)

Friday Night Write
At Niu Valley Middle School, we also hold a class called Friday Night Write. This gives children a chance to socialize and eat pizza while doing some writing! This ongoing class is $120/month.

Master Classes
For adults, we have Master Classes, which are $110/month for nine months. These classes are completely filled through May 2009. If you're interested in attending Master Classes, just let us know (on our "Contact" page) and we will put you on a waitlist for August 2009. At that time, the cost will be $125/month.
